Terms & Conditions

0. Overview and Definitions
The “J-beauty Hunt Ambassador Program” (the “Program”) is operated by Cosme Hunt, Inc. (“Cosme Hunt”). Cosme Hunt may outsource certain Program operations, including payment processing for paid collaborations, to Trenders, Inc. (“TRDS”) pursuant to Cosme Hunt’s Privacy Policy. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) set forth the rights and obligations of any individual accepted into the Program (each, an “Ambassador”).
By applying or continuing to participate, you confirm that you (i) are at least 18 years old and (ii) have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and the Cosme Hunt Privacy Policy.
“Content” means any photos, videos, captions or other materials you create or post in connection with the Program.
“Work Order” means a separate written agreement, issued by TRDS on Cosme Hunt’s behalf, for any paid collaboration.
A. Participation Requirements
1. You are at least 18 years old.
2. You maintain a public social-media account on which you can post Content.
B. Ambassador Perks
1. Your profile or Content may be featured on Cosme Hunt’s websites, social-media channels, and marketing e-mails.
2. You will be placed on an exclusive list to receive Japanese beauty products.
3. You will have access to Ambassador-only workshops and events.
4. You will periodically receive a J-beauty gift box (approx. 3–5 items).
5. No monetary compensation is provided under this Program; any paid collaboration will be handled under a separate Work Order (see Section C).
C. Ambassador Responsibilities
• I will post at least two (2) videos featuring only the gifted items within ninety (90) days of receiving each gift box.
• I will tag @jbeautyhunt on TikTok and tag @jbeautyhunt as a collaborator on Instagram.
• I will include required disclosures such as #ad, #gifted, or the platform-provided paid-partnership label in accordance with FTC guidelines and all applicable local regulations.
• I will uphold Cosme Hunt’s values of diversity, inclusivity and empathy; hateful, intolerant or bullying content is prohibited.
• I grant Cosme Hunt a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute and publicly display any Content featuring products provided under the Program, on any media, for promotional purposes.
• I understand that no monetary compensation will be given if my images or likeness are used on Cosme Hunt’s websites or social channels.
• Any paid collaboration will be governed by a separate Work Order executed between me and TRDS, acting as Cosme Hunt’s payment agent.
D. Cancellation
You may exit the Program at any time by e-mailing support@cosmehunt.com with the subject line “Exiting Ambassador Program.”
Obligations incurred prior to termination (e.g., posting gifted items already received) will remain in effect.
E. Rights of Cosme Hunt
1. Cosme Hunt may deny any application at its sole discretion.
2. Cosme Hunt may change Program benefits or duties, or discontinue the Program, at any time.
3. Cosme Hunt may remove an Ambassador who fails to perform duties or violates these Terms or Cosme Hunt’s values, upon e-mail notice.
4. Cosme Hunt will supply products for review and may spotlight Ambassadors in marketing activities.
F. Governing Law & Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to such jurisdiction.
Cosme Hunt may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the J-beauty Hunt website. Continued participation after such posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Privacy Notice
Pursuant to the Cosme Hunt Privacy Policy, your personal information will be collected and used by Cosme Hunt for (i) providing Program information, (ii) shipping products, (iii) handling compensation and contractual procedures, (iv) responding to inquiries, and (v) conducting and evaluating marketing activities using social media. Cosme Hunt may outsource the handling of your personal information to TRDS and other vendors solely for the above purposes. Except as permitted by law or with your consent, Cosme Hunt will not provide your personal information to any third party.
