Let’s have a blast skincare for summer!

1. Choose the right sunscreen

Think about how quickly you burn on a summer month.

I guess you've heard of UVA and UVB at least once in your life.

UVA rays penetrate deep into the dermis and damages skin cells called keratinocytes in the basal layer of the epidermis, where most skin cancers occur.

UVB tends to damage the skin's more superficial epidermal layers. They are the most predominant waves of radiation emitted by the sun and Both varieties of UV

Since the advent of modern sunscreens, a sunscreen's efficacy has been measured by its  sun protection factor,(SPF) and PA. PA stands for protection grade of UVA. SPF indicates how long it will take for UVB rays to redden skin when using a sunscreen. I recommend you choose the sunscreen that has a PA++ or +++ and an SPF 30 or 50 at least.

We have much more to explain to you about sunscreen on our blog! Please don't forget to apply the sunscreen to your skin when you go out especially in summer!

2. Repair damage

It’s inevitable that you’ll end up overexposing yourself to the sun at some point during the season.

When this happens, focus on repairing the damage and healing your sensitive skin. Pure Aloe Vera gel can do wonders for overexposed skin, and should be applied liberally at the first sign of too much sun.

Other helpful ingredients are hydrators like panthenol (vitamin B5), hyaluronic acid, and glycerin. Antioxidants such as vitamin C, green tea, coenzyme Q10 also play a role in protecting and repairing the skin.

3. Moisturize

One of the effects of sunburn is a drying of the skin.

It's more important than ever to moisturize skin when you have a sunburn.

Keep your skin as moisturized as possible to aid in its recovery; apply moisturizer as often as possible.

Be sure you have the proper moisturizer, however.

There are some types of moisturizing agents that can help restore skin to its natural state more quickly that you might want to look for.

4. Love Your Lips

Not only your skincare for summer, you'll also have to care for your lips

Even those of us that slather on the sunscreen and SPF 30 foundation are often guilty of neglecting sun protection for our lips.

Luckily, it’s an easy problem to fix. You can buy many shades of lipstick in an SPF formula made by Japan and simply apply a layer of sun-protectant lip balm before heading out.

5. Don't forget to care for your eyes

We already talked about skincare and lip care. But how about your eyes?

Your eyes can get sunburned as a result of prolonged exposure to the sun’s UV rays. This could cause a burning sensation and blurred vision.

The UV rays causing this kind of damage does not only come directly from the sun, but also from the reflection of sun rays from water and sand.

Japanese people pay a lot of attention to eye care and there is a range of eye drops for various eye conditions and problems and we'll introduce you Japanese top 5 eyedrops that protect your eyes from summer's sun next time!

6. Keep Hydrated

Japan is surrounded by a variety of bodies of the sea and called as a country of waterways.

We drink a lot of water and green tea every day.

Keep your skin hydrated any time of the year, especially in warmer months, it's important to care for your body from the inside out.

If you don't drink 2liters of a water a day, you may need to increase your water intake significantly during the summer.

These tips can be just an introduction to enjoy your summer under the glaringly sun, but none of above can't be missed if you don't want to get the damage to your body.
